SPRING FEST 2011: MIAMI

Over Memorial Day weekend L’Oreal and I , were in Miami , to cover Radio One’s Spring Fest, hosted by Russ Parr and Ricky Smiley and sponsored by FEVER. The line up for the show was amazing , the hottest musical acts performed, including , Big Sean, Travis Porter, Miquel,Marsha Ambrosius, Jeremih, Llyod, Keri Hilson, Chris Brown , Trey Songz and Rick Ross, along with a few surprises such as  Wale, Bow Wow and Drake. When we arrived to Bicentennial Park (downtown Miami), the lines were extended around the building, thousands of fans waited in 95 degree weather to see the show. L’ore’al and I headed backstage to the media tent and awaited arrivals. OMG, this was one of the most hectic days ever, we both had on 6 inch heels, and had to walk back and forth from the stage to the media tent atleast 10 times, can we say work out! While back stage we , were able to talk with Big Sean, Miguel, Marsha Ambrosius and Travis Porter. Chris Brown, Keri , Trey or Ricky didn’t do interviews (whompskies, in L’ore’al’s voice). During the show, the crowds participation was like nothing I’ve ever saw before, especially because the crowd had been out there all day in the heat, but their energy remained on high.  The entire show was great but my favorite performances were Keri Hilson, I had never saw her live before and didn’t expect much , but she did great, Trey of course had all the ladies swooning, but my favorite of the night has to go to Chris Brown. That boy can dance like no other.
