After watching Beyonce’s special, YEAR OF 4 , I have even more respect for her. Of course, for years we’ve known she works her a** of to give us the best of her self, but while watching her special and actually seeing her hard work and dedication, it’s more than inspiring. One of my favorite quotes from the special was “If I ain’t sleeping, nobody’s sleeping.” Tell ‘em Bey! Too often people want to asociate with greatness but not put in the work.

Before Sunday night ,planking was simply an ab strengthening exercise that I learned in Pilate’s, and then I checked  my twitter. My Timeline was filled with people laying  across various items. At 1st I didn’t pay to much attention to it, but then I saw more and more of of it.  It seemed innocent enough, a TT (trending topic) to make everyone laugh, instead of the normal ones that are degrading or mean. Then I saw some people twitting that the “real” meaning of planking dated back to slavery, when Africans were piled on top of one another in slave ships to save space. So, was this new planking game meant to be offensive, I don’t think so. Often black people , especially the ones with very little sense of humor, are quick to take the fun out of something and make it into something racist, when it is just intended for fun, chill!
