Okay so yesterday on SuperGorge Radio the girls posed a question about sharing your password with your mate. Well to me I think it’s absurd and irresponsible on each of the persons’ in the couple part. So after the show yesterday I decided to do a little research of my own and found out that passwords are not the only thing couples today are sharing. Check this out:

Yesterday I was having a conversation with one of my friends and she mentioned to me that her “BOYFRIEND” and her share, get this, banking accounts, REALLY?!?! I just was in utter shock when she told me this. She proceeded to remind me that they have lived together for over 5 years and they “mind as well, because we are damn near married anyway”. After she said that I pointed out to her that her key words in that whole response was “damn near”.

Often we hear people say that Marriage is only a piece of paper, well to some that may seem fair enough but in this situation you NEED “just that paper” in order to solidify sharing a bank account. Now I can see if they were engaged and decided to open a savings account for a new home, but no this is just to say they share a checking account. Now I know this may pose a few questions like who makes more, and my answer may have you “RAMMING” out of your seat, SHE DOES! This to me makes it an ultimate NO NO. I can not see myself making my hard earned money available to someone who has not vowed to share their life with me.

So I ask you SuperGorgies, WOULD YOU SHARE A CHECKING ACCOUNT WITH WITH YOUR BOYFRIEND?
