Essence Magazine recently revealed their to 50 most influential R&B  artist ever ! The list is no particular (it should have been, guess they didn’t want the drama) and includes MOST of my favorites like Michael Jackson, Beyonce , TLC, Janet Jackson , New Edition, and Aaliyah, but my favorite male singer right now, Ne-Yo is not on the list and nether is the ICONIC Tina Turner ! Take a look at the list and tell us who else you think is missing!

Sidenote: Why is Diddy and Timbaland  on this list? They have produced for R&B artist , but as performers they re rappers.
