Maintaining any relationship can be a difficult task, let alone a relationship in the public eye. Gabrielle Union and her Honey, Miami Heat player Dwayne Wade certainly know all about it.

Dwayne has custody of his two sons, and there was a lot of drama behind that with him and ex-wife Siovaughn. She’s had a bit to say about Dwayne and Gabby..calling her a homewrecker and other not so friendly names.

Gabrielle sat down with TT Torrez and got pretty passionate about the whole thing. She said, “It’s hard because, aside from loving him, I want to protect myself. I’ve built my life. I built my own brand. I built my career and my career took a hit from that madness because some people refuse to see the truth, even when it’s presented to them time and time again. I love him but at some point it’s about self preservation.”
