Apart of our “Basketball Dream Team,” LeBron James is playing basketball for team USA in the 2012 Olympics. Currently engaged to his high school sweetheart/babymama, Savannah Brinson, LeBron is over in London asking olympic swimmers out for lunch.

Olympic swimmer Lauren Perdue tweeted that James had asked her out.

She what she had to say when asked about the tweet from Scott Fowler of The Charlotte Observer,

“He was kind of joking but he was basically like, ‘Would you like to come eat with me at the dining hall?’ And I said, ‘Um, I’m sorry, I have a curfew.’ So I turned that one down, yeah. He was gracious and certainly didn’t imply that he was asking for anything other than a meal at the Olympic Village dining hall.”

It’s a little to late to switch the story up now Lauren, honey, you already tweeted it and we need answers!

“The basketball players were nice enough to kind of come out and meet the swimmers and take pictures, speaking of a recent evening when the basketball players toured the Olympic Village (they aren’t staying there — the swimmers are),”

Perdue went on to explain.
