Despite the fact that Tameka Raymond recently lost her 11 year old son do to a jetski accident, the custody battle between her and Usher is still getting ugly! Recently Usher requested that the courts delay the custody hearing because of the death of Tameka’s son Kile. He was worried that the hearing would cause “unnecessary stress and strain” on not only himself, but for Tameka and thier two sons.

Usher also felt that the courts may give Tameka an unfair advantage  because they wouldn’t want to rule against a women who just lost a child. Of course Usher’s claims did NOT sit well with Tameka who then filed documents via her lawyer to blast ushers phony sympathy. According to Tameka, Usher was hardly there while Kile was on life support, only coming to see him in the hospital one time. She also said she begged Usher to tweet “Please Pray for Kile” but he refused and tweeted a picture of his breakfast instead. Tameka is requesting that the judge deny Usher’s request because it is “simply a transparent sham” and she wants to resolve the custody battle so she can heal and move forward with her life.

SAD! Whatever the reasons, I hope both Tameka and Usher remember to do what is best for the kids.  What do you think, is Tameka wrong for pushing that the custody battle be settled right away, or has the recent death of her son made it even more important that Usher get custody?
