With the recent departure of Steven Tyler and Jennifer Lopez on American Idol , there were 2 seats left open for new judges. Mariah Carey has filled J. LO’s seat and now the producers of the show are looking for another male judge. AN unexpected name has come up as a possible host, Snoop Dogg aka Snoop Lion (his reggae name) !

Snoop says he would love to be a judge on IDOL. Although the producers of Idol have yet to comment on Snoop being a possible judge, we think it’s a great idea and out of the norm. Although he isn’t a singer, Snoop has had a very successful career in the music industry for over 20 years. He’d be a great addition to the show. What do you think?
