Last night music’s 1st couple Jay Z & Beyonce hosted their fundraiser at the 40/40 club in New York City for President Obama’s campaign. We told you that tickets cost a whooping $40,000. Even with the steep cost 100 guest put out the money in efforts to support our president.  Beyonce stunned in a red cocktail dress by Oscar de la Renta. Oh that waist , just months after Blue, I’m hating lol!

Throughout the night, President Obama and the Carters made super cute remarks about 1 another.

Beyonce introduced the president by saying,

“I can’t tell you how proud we are to host tonight’s event with President Obama,We believe in his vision.”

President Obama had this to say about this to say about The Carters and his similarities to Jay Z:

“To J and B, thank you so much for your friendship.”

 ”Jay-Z now knows, you know, what my life is like. We both have daughters. And our wives are more popular than we are… So we’ve got a little bond there. It’s hard, but it’s okay.”

And POTUS had this to say about Beyonce:

“Beyoncé couldn’t be a better role model for our daughters because she carries herself with such class and poise and has so much talent.”

The president also joked that his Family was a little mad at him for not bringing them to the affair:

 ”Michelle, Sasha and Malia are mad at me because they aren’t here.”
