That’s right, they caught dirty south rapper Nelly and his crew riding dirty.

On Wednesday night Nelly‘s tour bus was passing through the Sierra Blanca border patrol in Texas (just about 30 miles North of Mexico).

This is an infamous checkpoint for catching celebs slipping; they caught Snoop Dogg, Willie Nelson, Armie Hammer and Fiona Apple all in illegal acts.

But back to Nelly and the shenanigans…

During their routine search they unveiled 36 small bags of heroin, 10 pounds of marijuana and a .45 caliber pistol.

DAMN Nelly… talk about riding around and getting it.

All 7 passengers were immediately detained including Nelly, (real name Cornell Iral Haynes Jr..)

After a few hours all of them were released except for Brian Keith Jones, who claimed the illegal substance and weapon was in his sole possession.

Well it looks like Brian has saved the day. Now that’s what you call a ‘ride or die’ but hey we all know Nelly has bail money.

Nelly is set also to perform in Austin, Texas, next month as part of the COTA Austin fan Fest with other artist Flo Rida and more.
