Well this just literally put a smile on my face (I’m a sucker for happiness). Last night, Alicia Keys had a show for her SET THE WORLD ON FIRE TOUR at Madison Square Garden and when it was time for A. Keys to take a mini break, out came her hubby Swizz Beatz accompanied by his former Ruff Ryder, DMX!! The packed house went wild and partied as DMX did his smash hit “Up In Here.” I’m sure DMX was elated; he hasn’t performed in front of a packed house like that in years!!! That was super nice of Alicia and Swizz to give him the opportunity!!!

Sometimes when couples get together, we often wonder what they see in each other. This was kind of the case for me when I 1st found out about Alicia Keys and Swizz Beats. Not that anything is wrong with either of them, but they just seemed like complete opposites. Today Alicia stopped to chat with Wendy Williams and says that at 1st she thought he was too flashy for her, but after getting to know each other, he showed her a different side. I’m going to go with a yes…Alicia Keys, who already has one son, Egypt, with husband Swizz Beatz looks like she may be sporting a new mini baby bump.
Now, do we all have those moments when we eat a little too much and the camera gets the wrong angle??? Yes, but I don’t know about this one. We are all super excited that Beyonce will be the halftime performer at this years SuperBowl and now we’ve learned that Alicia Keys will be singing the National Anthem this years SuperBowl! Alicia follows in the footsteps of Whitney Houston, Christina Aguilera and Beyonce herself , with singing the National Anthem at the Super Bowl. We wonder how she will measure up! Either way it’s a great look having 2 African American women perform at SuperBowl in the same year!!

Yesterday was an awesome day not just because of the date 12.12.12, but also because many celebs showed up and performed at the Hurricane Sandy Benefit Concert. The Robin Hood Relief Fund organized the event and the concert’s proceeds will be donated to families still dealing with the aftermath of the storm.
The Who, Paul McCartney, The Rolling Stones, Eric Clapton, Roger Waters, Chris Martin, Alicia Keys and Kanye West all performed last night at Madison Square Garden. Check out some of the performances inside. Continue reading
