Yes, you’ve heard it right, Ashanti is taking money from the babies… Sorta…
June 1st Ashanti did an appearance + private group chats + an interview. (I would have thrown in a lunch and an autographed picture for that price.) The purpose of her appearance was to encourage the kids to follow their dreams, stay in school, build support network of family and friends and overall prosper in life.
Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum Donna Haye tells The Press of Atlantic City the school budgets for special events and officials, “We budget for special events and saw this as a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. We wanted to bring in someone young who would connect with the students.“
