ROBIN ROBERTS COVERS PEOPLE MAGAZINE & OPENS UP ABOUT HOW CLOSE SHE FELT TO DEATH

Robin Roberts is truly an inspiration to us all. Not only has she recovered from a very tough battle with myelodysplastic syndrome and cancer, but she’s shared her story and given strength to so many people. And now Robin is heading back to work on February 20th. One can’t help but to seriously admire her strength.
But with that said, Robin reveals the inner struggles she had to deal with while appearing to just bounce back from it all. She says,
“I couldn’t eat or drink. I couldn’t even get out of bed. I was in a coma-like state. I truly felt I was slipping away … then I kept hearing my name…”

VIDEO: BROOKE BURKE REVEALS SHE HAS THYROID CANCER…BUT SHE WILL NOT BE DEFEATED!

In a very emotional video actress and dancer, Brooke Burke expressed to her fans via YouTube, that she was diagnosed with thyroid cancer.
The mother of four spent last summer getting a nodule in throat tested. After undergoing many tests, the results came back to be cancerous.

REST IN PEACE: ADAM YAUNCH AKA MCA OF THE BEASTIE BOYS

Adam Yauch aka MCA of the Beastie Boys has passed away at the age of 47 after a long battle with cancer. The Beastie Boys were one of the 1st acts signed to Def Jam in the 80′s and paved the way for acts like Eminem, Kid Rock and Limp Bizkit. Russel Simmon’s site Global Grind describes Yaunch as one of their heros. Our condolences go out to his family and fans.

Known for her red locks, actress Cynthia Nixon , who played Miranda on Sex And The City debuted her bald head this moring on Live With Kelly! No Cynthia is not gunning to be the next Amber Rose! The actress shaved her head for her role as a cancer patient,Vivian Bearing in the play Wit, which opens on January 26th! Kudos to Cynthia for not taking her role lightly in the play. Cynthia herself had a cancer scare in 2006 , when she was diagnosed with the early stages of Breast Cancer. Cythia underwenta lumpectomy and radiation and countinues to take medicine so that her cancer does not spread.

GIULIANA RANCIC SAYS THROUGH HER CANCER TREATMENT, FANS HAVE HELPED HER RECOVER QUICKER

Giuliana recently went through a life changing double lumpectomy, but receiving messages, tweets, and letters from her fans telling her to “be strong” has helped her believe in her own strength. She’s no stranger to sharing her life. Her and her husband have been very open about their fertility struggles on their show ”Giuliana & Bill.” Giuliana plans on being very open about this as well. She wants to make sure her story positively affects others. She says, “I want women to make sure they’re taking care of their health and being proactive.” We’re praying for you Giuliana!
