We all know that Lamar had quite the difficult time adjusting to being let go from the Lakers. 1st he was put on the inactive list , the officially let go, so the couple headed back to LA. Now Lamar wants to put all of his energy into training and getting his head back in the game. Of course Khloe is supportive. I love these two. I wish Lam-Lam the best. What do you all think? As we began to see on “Khloe & Lamar”, Lamar was not vibing right with his new team, The Dallas Mavericks, but as of now that is no more. Lamar and wife Khloe packed up their things and headed back home to LA.
Odom released this public statement,
“The Mavericks and I have mutually agreed that it’s in the best interest of both parties for me to step away from the team.I’m sorry that things didn’t work out better for both of us, but I wish the Mavs’ organization, my teammates and Dallas fans nothing but continued success in the defense of their championship.”
Professionally, it’s been a rough few months for Lamar Odom. 1st there was talk of Lamar being traded from his beloved Lakers to the Hornets and then he found a new home with the Dallas Mavericks. And although Lamar was awarded the 2011 Sixth Man of the Year award , by the Mavericks , all of the stress of leaving the Lakers and not catching his groove with the Mavericks have taken a toll on his game mentally and physically.
Last week, we told you that Lamar Odom was in the midst of a trade “situation” and that his wife and our Fairy Godsister Khloe would follow him wherever he ends up. Welp, I’m guessing Khloe’s going to Texas. Lamar has been traded to the Dallas Mavericks. Last week he was upset about the back and forth of it all and even said he wasn’t going to practice at a place he isn’t wanted. There were rumors that his participation in the Kardashian Klan’s slew of reality shows is a distraction. So now, he’s headed to Texas, and his teammates are not too thrilled.
