When news first broke of VH1 giving the boot to almost all of the original cast members of Basketball Wives (besides Draya and Jackie Christie) , none of the girls who were cut really had much to say. Gloria Govan has finally made an official statement. She believes that she has been cut because of her NBA husband, Matt Barnes refusal to be on the upcoming season along with the fact that she failed to let VH1 know about her secret/private wedding. I don’t blame Gloria for wanting to leave some aspects of her life private, especially after all the drama that went on after letting the cameras in. I don’t think I’ve watched a full season of America’s Next Top Model since Eva Pigford became the winner. I feel the show is purely for entertainment purposes and very few of these women have went on to have prosperous modeling careers. Tyra is now trying to revamp the show, which is in its 18th season, and with a fresh start comes fresh faces. Lady Gaga and Ms. Boomboomkat, Laurie Ann Gibson have been longtime partners. Laurie Ann was her creative director and longtime friend. VIDEO:THE REAL REASON KIMSHA ARTEST ISN’T ON BASKETBALL WIVES LA

Last week , we told you how Kimsha Artest went in on Shaunie Oneal for cutting her out of Basketball Wives LA, Shaunie and her co star Evelyn quickly went to Shaunie’s defense about having nothing to do with Kimsha’a disapperance. Now VH1 producers have released a statement as to why Kimsha has really been cut:
“When Kimsha Artest signed on to be in ‘Basketball Wives: LA,’ we were very excited to have her onboard. That is why we were confused and disheartened when after a limited number of days shooting she stopped showing up for filming. This is the sole and only reason Kimsha has not appeared on more episodes of the series. Her minimal coverage on the show was entirely her decision and not that of Shed Media, VH1 or Executive Producer Shaunie O’Neal.’Basketball Wives: LA’ continues to be a ratings success for VH1 every Monday night.”
Lad,y if you stop showing up to work of course you get fired! Case closed!

Just moments ago one a friends asked where is Kimsha Artest this season on Basketball Wives LA, I responded , who cares,lol. Kimsha was shown in the 1st episode, she is the wife or “wife” of Ron Artest, and many of you said she was REAL. I remember her as the chick that wore flops and a too small dress to the club appearance in which she was hosting, anywho. For the past few weeks Kimsha has been noticeably missing from Basketball Wives and now we know why! It seems all of her “real” footage has ended up on the cutting room floor! Kimsha took to her Facebook page to air out Shaunie O’Neal, Evelyn Lozada and Laura Govan.
