Yesterday many familiar faces gathered to show their respects for Chris Kelly. The funeral of this Hip Hop star was held in his hometown of ATL where there was a live taping for everyone (including fans) to take part in the services. In attendance were Tiny, Da Brat, Jermaine Dupri, and many others who mourned this tragic lost. Check out some pics from the service.

Last week, 32 year old Natina Reed of the R&B group Blaque was tragically killed after being struck by a car in Georgia. Over the weekend family and friends laid her to rest.

MICHAEL CLARKE DUNCAN MEMORIAL AND A ‘GREEN MILE’ SCREENING IN ONE

Fans said goodbye to Michael Clarke Duncan at a private memorial yesterday at the Hall of Liberty in Forest Lawn. The viewing was followed by a screening of the Green Mile. A private invite-only ceremony will be held for the 54 yr old Actor today.
Duncan passed away on Sept. 3 after suffering a myocardial infarction in July.

Her family extended personal invitations to 1500 people and have allowed one camera to film the home-going service for her fans. Yesterday we told you that Aretha Franklin, Whitney Houston’s GodMother is set to sing at the singers funeral this Saturday. We’ve learned that Stevie Wonder is set to attend as well and maybe perform. Whitney’s Bodyguard co star, Kevin Costner is said to make a speech at the funeral and now we’re hearing that Oprah Winfrey has also been invited to the invite only service. Brandy, Eay J, and Bill Cosby are also amongest the invited. Rumors are spreading that Jay Z and Beyonce have also been invited. Whitney’s childhood church only seats 300 people.

This Saturday a true icon will be laid to rest. It is still very hard to believe that Whitney Houston is no longer with us! On Saturday, Whitney Houston’s funeral services will be held at he church she grew up in, New Hope Baptist Church in New Jersey, by invitation only. It has been reported that Clive Davis has asked Whitney’s GodMother and fellow icon, Aretha Franklin to sing “I Will Always Love You.”. There is no word yet on if anyone one else will sing at the funeral. I’ve also heard that although the public memorial has been cancelled, the funeral services will be streamed online. I will let you know if there is any truth to that. Whitney Houston is also said to be buried next to her father, John Rusel Houston Jr., who died in 2003.
