This is interesting!! As you know this past season of American Idol’s judges didn’t mesh so well,mainly Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj. Randy Jackson has said that he officially is done with the show and it hasn’t been confirmed if either Nicki,Mariah or Keith Urban will return to the show next season.

To be honest the weight loss is opening up a plethora of opportunities for the singer. She deserves every bit of her success.

Last night at 10pm (kind of upset it aired so late and was only an hour) we watched A GRAMMY SALUTE TO WHITNEY HOUSTON: WE WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU, which was tapped at the Nokia Theater in LA, earlier this month. The show was opened up by the Supergorge and clearly emotional Halle Berry, followed by a performance by Jennifer Hudson in her Whitney 80′s inspired hair and Whitney’s uptempo hits, Celine Dion, Usher ,Cece Winans and Yolanda Adams also performed and Clive Davis and Britney Spears also spoke.
There were clips of Whitney interviews,performances, her amazing, still untouched SuperBowl National Anthem performance and her 1994 Grammy performance of I WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU. Over all the special was good, but like we said it should have been longer , and we would have loved for Beyonce, Brandy, Alicia Keys, Monica, Christina Aguilera and Toni Braxton to have been apart of this tribute!

It’s fashion Friday!!! Last night some of our favorite fashionable ladies stepped out for the 9th annual CDFA/Vogue Fashion Fund at the Chateau Marmont. Those in attendance were of course Vogue’s editor and chief Anna Wintour, Gwen Stefani, Jennifer Aniston, Katy Perry, Victoria Beckham, Isla Fsher , Rachel Zoe and many more.
My favorite look has to go to mom of 2, 43 year old Gwen Stefani!!!! Love the pants suit, with the bra for a feminine touch, and of course Gwen’s super blonde hair and red lip were in effect!

Simply dressed in all black with a textured leather swing skirt by Versace, black turtle neck, black stockings, and black boots also by Versace, she made her outfit really pop with a fabulous October orange and sequenced embellished coat.

Over the years we have watched the weight literally fall off of Jennifer Hudson, which she credits to solely working out and Weight Watchers, although we think gastric bypass may have helped a little, Jennifer denies that it did. However Jennifer Hudson did open up to Oprah for her recent interview on Next Chapter about her body image and she admitted that in 2006 for her role in Dream Girls, she got her lips injected, because of a dent in her lips that were picking up bad lighting.
‘When I did Dreamgirls I actually had to get my dent right here injected because it was affecting the lighting.
‘And when I got it done the doctor was like, “I do not want to do this do you realize people come in here and pay to have the lips you have naturally.And I was like, “I don’t want to but I have to for the movie!”

MAN WHO KILLED JENNIFER HUDSON’S FAMILY GET SENTENCED TO 3 CONSECUTIVE LIFE SENTENCES

It’s been 4 years since William Balfour, estranged brother in law of Jennifer Hudson killed her mother,brother and 8 year old nephew. Today Balfour was sentenced to 3 consecutive life sentences by the Chicago Cook County judicial systems, that’s 120 years! We are very pleased that justice has been served. Our prayers are still with the Hudson family!
