As we began to see on “Khloe & Lamar”, Lamar was not vibing right with his new team, The Dallas Mavericks, but as of now that is no more. Lamar and wife Khloe packed up their things and headed back home to LA.
Odom released this public statement,
“The Mavericks and I have mutually agreed that it’s in the best interest of both parties for me to step away from the team.I’m sorry that things didn’t work out better for both of us, but I wish the Mavs’ organization, my teammates and Dallas fans nothing but continued success in the defense of their championship.”

Professionally, it’s been a rough few months for Lamar Odom. 1st there was talk of Lamar being traded from his beloved Lakers to the Hornets and then he found a new home with the Dallas Mavericks. And although Lamar was awarded the 2011 Sixth Man of the Year award , by the Mavericks , all of the stress of leaving the Lakers and not catching his groove with the Mavericks have taken a toll on his game mentally and physically.
