So for all us Lil Kim fans who have been wondering where has the black barbie been, we finally got our answers via the Queen Bee herself. Lil Kim recently sat down with Dj Envy from MTV’s Sucker Free to let her fans know why she didn’t released new music and what really was going on during that time.
“When I came home from prison in 2006, I was really unhappy with my label so I wanted to get off, and I didn’t get released. I wasn’t dropped. I had to pay them. So, at the end of the day, it’s like that takes time. For two years, I fought and fought and fought and finally there was a break.”
“During those two years, I did my Hollywood thing, I mean doing reality shows, ‘Dancing With The Stars’ and all that good stuff. But in between me doing ‘Dancing With The Stars’, I struck up another deal. I did deal with Track Masters, and it didn’t work out, but that took another year or two”

If you watched today’s episode of 106 & Park, you saw guest Lil’ Kim come on to promote her new single , talk about the 15th anniversary of the death of Notorious BIG and judge Freestyle Friday. At the end of Kim’s interview Rosci asked Kim about her feelings about how she was portrayed in Notorious, and also about the freestyle battle where subliminal were thrown at Nicki Minaj. I guess Kimmy wasn’t feeling the Nicki Minaj insinuated questions that Rosci was thrown and shut her down! Guess Rosci will know better next time! But wait! Earlier we post pictures of Lil’ Kim tonight on the red carpet for Rip The Runway, in which Kim is performing. In the pics Kim’s wig looked old and her face and make up looked horrible. Moments ago Kim’s fan page sent a message saying that her pics were altered and that the on on the right his the real deal! That’s more like it. I don’t if it’s altered or not, the pics we originally put up were released within minutes of Kim hitting the carpet. If someone altered them they worked fast! The sad truth is if you showed me either , I wouldn’t agrue that that is how she looked! What do you think?
