[VIDEO] PRESIDENT OBAMA ADDRESSES BOSTON ATTACK: “THE AMERICAN PEOPLE WILL BE WITH BOSTON EVERY STEP OF THE WAY!”
This afternoon in Boston, explosives were set off during the famous Boston Marathon. As runners were crossing the finish line an explosion occurred meters away, followed by a second explosion. With many injured and 2 dead the city of Boston is in the midst of an unforeseen tragedy.
President Obama addressed the nation expressing concern for the city and reassuring citizens that he is determined to produce answers. The city was full of thousands who came to support/participate in the race. The Chicago Tribune reports that many runners continued running to the local hospital to give blood for those who were injured.
Our hearts go out to the city and the families who are affected by this tragic event. You are in our prayers.

Congrats are in order for our President Obama. TIME magazine named him this year Person Of The Year! The photographer of the shoot Nadav Kander, spoke about the portrait saying, “When photographing such a high profile individual, it’s a huge challenge to not let their high profile take over the process. I wanted to make a meaningful photograph that reflected pause in a person’s life and reflect his humanity.” Great accomplish to cap off off 2012.
Words cannot express the sadness that hit the nation this past Friday. I don’t know one person who didn’t feel individually touched by the horrific events that took place. Many of us even cried, including President Obama. His 1st speech in was heartfelt and touching, but the one from last night was personalized. There’s a point where the President even names each victim. I get chills even thinking about it.

I’m quite emotional today seeing everyone making a difference, and the celebrities are very passionate as well. Yesterday we told you about Beyonce’s letter to President Obama and Jay-Z’s performance at the President’s rally in Ohio.
King Bey shared a few pics on her Tumblr today. Although…we’re quite sure it’s illegal to post pictures of your ballot..even for you King Bey, but to be clear, the law says “no completed ballots” and her hand is covering it and it’s pretty blurry in the other shots….Anywhoo, check them out… Continue reading

Katy Perry is one of the many President Barack Obama celebrity supporters! To show her support the birthday girl wore a presidential ballot dress , with OBAMA filled in, last night as she performed at at campaign rally last night in Vegas, where the President was speaking. Of course today many of my Obama supporters are tweeting how much the love the dress. Would you wear it?
And I have to ask, why is OK, and applauded for Katy and others to outwardly show their support for President Obama, but not for people to do the same for Romney? Everyone is entitled to there vote and opinion! Continue reading
