For the past few weeks my timeline on social networking sites has been full of talk about my followers experience going to see the movie Django starring Samuel L. Jackson, Jamie Foxx, Kerry Washington and Leonardo DiCaprio. Some raved about how great it was, other said it was too long, while others said the word NIGGER was used way too much. I didn’t see the movie. I’ve never been one to want to sit for hours and watch movies about slaves..it’s just not on my hobby list. Actor, Samuel L. Jackson has been announced as the host for the 2012 BET Awards, which will be LIVE on July 1st. What do you think f Samuel L. being the host? Do you think he will be funny? I’m sure he will have a rap skit to get back at all the rappers turned actors. I think it’s an interesting choice, if nothing else. Chris Brown and Nicki Minaj are also the 1st artist confirmed to perform on the show! I will be tuned in!
