Words cannot express the sadness that hit the nation this past Friday. I don’t know one person who didn’t feel individually touched by the horrific events that took place. Many of us even cried, including President Obama. His 1st speech in was heartfelt and touching, but the one from last night was personalized. There’s a point where the President even names each victim. I get chills even thinking about it.

Controversial talk show host Wendy Williams is never one to hold her tongue and when it comes to anyone and that includes Beyonce, whom she is always free lipped about ! As Wendy recently told her audience, during Hot Topics, about Bey’s upcoming documentary on HBO , Wendy went on to say how much a Beyonce fan she is, and that Beyonce doesn’t talk that well. Wendy referred to Beyonce’s talking as that of a 5th grade graduate! OUCH. Of course now many are saying Wendy dissed Beyonce and is calling her dumb, but let’s be honest, we’ve all heard Beyonce talk and many of us feel that same way, even if we haven’t said it. During interviews she gives very simple answers and has the same ole artificial smile on her face, that’s just the truth, and it’s not knocking that she’s a great entertainer. Take a look at what Wendy had to say! Continue reading
Huge shout out to MTV!!! This Thursday the VMA’s will be live from The Staple Center in LA . MTV was catching major slack and some were even claiming that the network was trying to sabotage President Obama from reaching young voters, because the VMA’s were scheduled to air during the president’s DNC speech this Thursday. But no fear!!! MTV has decided to move the awards up an hour so that the two do not conflict.
The 2012 MTV Awards will air live from 8pm -10pm (pre show starting at 7pm) this Thursday, and President Obama is set to hit the DNC stage around 10:30 to make his speech. Now everyone can be happy!!!! We will be tuned into to both!!!!
How powerful is this photo?? The saying holds true , that a picture speaks a thousand words! This shot is so amazing of Dr. Martin Luther King standing tall over the 1st family of the United states! and fills me up emotionally. 33 years after the assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King, his memorial , which stands 45 feet tall, was unveiled in Washington DC’s National Mall on August 28th 2011. Today , October 16th, President Obama, Aretha Franklin, Rev. Jesse Jackson, Stevie Wonder, Mary Mary and thousand of others, lead the dedication of the memorial.
Check out President Obama’s speech and more footage from this very historical moment: Continue reading
