A huge congratulations goes out to Drake!! The singer/rapper/actor had the #1 album in the country! Take Care sold 631,000 copies in it’s 1st week, making this Drake’s second #1 album and the 3rd biggest album debut of the year. Fellow YMCMB member, Lil Wayne takes the #2 spot with 964,000 sold and Lady Gaga came in at #1!!! Go Drizzy!!!

CONGRATS: DRAKE INDUCTED INTO THE CANADA WALK OF FAME

Yesterday (October 1st), rapper Drake was inducted into the 2011 Canada Walk of Fame. The canadian rapper was honored and received a $10,000 honorarium, which he donated to Dixon Hall (a community-based service that creates opportunities for low-income Toronto residents.) Drake gladly accepted his honor stating, “I am a proud Canadian, and I am grateful to Canada’s Walk of Fame and the Slaight Foundation for this award.”
Such a great honor for someone so young who isn’t even on their sophmore album yet! Drakes sophmore album “Take Care” hits shelves October 24th, which is also Drake’s 25th birthday!
