Well, Uncle Sam is making sure they know it’s real by coming to collect what’s due! The latest victim, legendary singer and actress Mary J. Blidge is said to owe $3.4 million ! DAMN, I feel another album on the way. Mary better get to making some $$$ before she ends up like Lauryn Hill!

Of course by now you’ve heard that singer Lauryn Hill owes over $1.8 million in back taxes, and has only paid $50,000 towards it. The singer has 2 weeks to come up with half the money or it’s to the slammer she goes!!!
I always think it’s crazy when celebs aren’t paying their taxes and when they get caught on it, they don’t just pay. Where are the coins?? Well in this open letter Lauryn lets us know that even though she has sold more than 50,000,000, yes 50 million albums worldwide, she’s only received a very small financial gain from her work!! Oh the shade of the music industry!!

“It’s Da Rule Baybyyyy”
Rapper Ja Rule is set to be released from jail very soon after serving most of his 2 year sentence!
Rule was put away due to possession of an illegal handgun. Reports confirm that he is very anxious to get back in the studio, but before he can begin working he has to clear up this tax evasion charge.
Right now, Rule is headed to federal custody, where he will be living in a half way house and expected to pay $1.1 million!

Rapper , Beanie Sigel, 38, is headed to the big house for 2 years! The rapper only paid $10,000 of taxes from 1999-2002, in which her earned $2.2 million in taxable income, and in 2003.2004 and 2005 and didn’t pay any taxes at all, leaving him with a tax bill of $728,536 . Beanie, who’s real name is Dwight Grant, has until September 12th 2012 to turn himself into authorities!

This weekend all of us Lauryn Hill fans were very pleased to see the legend hit the stage for Summer Jam 2012! Today we’ve learned the the singer/actress made about $1.6 million in 2005, 2006 and 2007 and failed to pay any taxes!! Lauryn has been charged with failing to file income tax returns and will face Federal court on june 29th, she could (but probably won’t ) face jail time! When will these celebrities learn to pay their taxes!!!!
