The 1st official promo pic for VH1′s CRAZY, SEXY, COOL, TLC movie has been released. We’ve gotten a few behind the scenes photos and with each picture, I am slowly becoming more and more convinced that Drew Sidora, Lil Mama and Keke Palmer have what it takes to pull off this movie. Make-up and hair make all the difference. Check out the most recent promo pic inside. I almost had to do a double take! Can’t wait for the movie to drop in November!!

SUPERGORGE SNAPSHOT: KEKE PALMER & CHILLI ON SET OF TLC BIO PIC! NOW DO YOU THINK THEY LOOK ALIKE?

As you know, a lot of people (including myself) had their panties in a bunch when it was announced that Keke Palmer would be playing the SEXY of CRAZYSEXYCOOL, TLC’s Chilli, in their upcoming biopic with VH1. A lot of us didn’t see the resemblance, and of course we all were up in arms because Keke doesn’t have Chilli’s “baby hairs” (Lol). Now 2 weeks into filming, here is a picture of Chilli (42) and Keke (19) hugging with their faces smashed together, and I have to say the resemblance isn’t that far off. Now yes the SUPERGORGE Chilli is barefaced and Keke is lightly beat down and contoured…and yes we see the baby hairs on the wig!! We must give a kudos to the make up artist for letting us see more of Chilli and less of Keke!

We told you about who has been cast to play TLC in their upcoming VH1 Biopic, and I along with a lot of others have voiced our concern about who was chosen to play the famous girl group.
Keke Palmer,who has been cast as Chilli in the VH1 ,TLC biopic took to twitter in a rant about people saying she doesn’t look like Chilli,so she shouldn’t play her.
Keke pointed out that Angela Bassett doesn’t look like Tina Turner and that she did an amazing job as Tina in WHAT’S LOVE GOT TO DO WITH IT. Continue reading

It seems that VH1 has now cast all 3 leading parts for their upcoming bio on girl group TLC. Sadly,I am not pleased with most of their choices! Growing up I was a huge TLC fan and I want to see this biopic done right!! We told you that Lil’ Mama will be playing the late Left Eye and that Keke Palmer is set to play Chilli and now word is Drew Sidora (you remember her from The Game right?) will be portraying T-Boz! This time last year we told you that VH1 had announced plans to make a biopic of Mega group TLC!!! Now we have learned that the movie is in the casting stage for TLC starlets , Tionna “T-Boz” Watkins , the late Lisa “Left-Eye” Lopes and Rozanda “Chilli Thomas“. The 1999 hit single “Unpretty” originated from a poem also titled “Unpretty” by poet Watkins. . The poem which dealt with a woman’s struggle with her self-image also addressed the comparisons many females make between themselves and the sometimes unrealistic concepts of beauty, as it is commonly portrayed in the media.
Recreated into a song and brought to life by an all time legendary female group TLC “Unpretty” was the groups 9th top 10 single on the Billboard Hot 100.
