69 year old Aretha Franklin will be marrying her longtime love William”Willie” Wilkerson. It’s been reported that she may be considering a Miami Beach yacht wedding and that her dress will be designed by a fashion heavy hitter. Her people told PEOPLE Magazine “Ms. Franklin is considering Donna Karan, Valentino and the queen of wedding dresses, Vera Wang, to design her gown.” Aretha Franklin also said, “We’re looking at June or July for our date and no, I’m not pregnant, LOL!” I was just telling someone, literally yesterday, that it’s NEVER too late! I LOVE IT!!! Congrats to the Queen!

Each year the CFDA gives away an award fund ($300,000) to a designer to help them go from good to great. This year CFDA President Diane Von Furstenburg selected Joseph Altuzarra.
